New Milos MR0 Sloping Roof Canopy Stage in stock Posted on 15th April 201618th February 2020 by stageadmin We have just added a Milos MR0 sloping roof canopy stage to our hire stock. The Milos MR0 measures 8m x 6m. Like our Milos MR1 canopy and Milos Mini MR1, the Milos MR0 requires a water ballast system. We will provide the water ballast tanks but it is the clients responsibility to provide the water. This Milos MR0 Canopy Stage requires about 4-5 hours to build depending on site conditions and any technical requirements. Cardiff Half Marathon 2015 Posted on 5th October 201520th February 2020 by stageadmin Cardiff Council Events Team and Run4Wales once again contacted us to provide our Milos Finish Line Structure and Steeldeck Staging Solutions for this years Cardiff Half Marathon 2015. We provided various Steeldeck stages such as media and broadcasting platforms, step structures, PA platforms and grandstands. Our Milos Mini MR1 outdoor canopy was provided outside Cardiff City Hall for the Athletes Village of Cardiff Half Marathon 2015. The Milos Mini MR1 outdoor canopy stage is freestanding and is just over 4m high at the front of the arched roof. The Milos Mini MR1 outdoor canopy has meshed walls on three sides with which can be removed if required. We also provided the trussing structure that spanned the finish line. Using our Milos 290V quad trussing helped provide a strong ridged structure. This is an ideal medium size outdoor stage for a performance or presentation. The useful stage area is approximately 24’ x 20’ (7.3m x 6m). Walk Ten at Margam Park 2013 Posted on 17th August 201321st April 2020 by stageadmin We were recently asked to supply site lighting for the Marie Curie event “Walk Ten” at Margam Park. Which saw over 270 people, raise over £400,000 for Marie Curie care. This unique opportunity saw the sun setting over the Welsh countryside as the walk from the Gothic Castle made its way through farmlands and woodland trails, towards the pulpit viewpoint, with magnificent views. Past the Iron Age Hill Fort, Margam Abbey Church, the Orangery and its beautiful gardens, and back to the Castle. For “Walk Ten” at Margam Park the equipment supplied included our small outdoor canopy stage, architectural site lighting using 400 Watt MBI lights to illuminate the front and side of the castle in Marie Curie corporate colours of yellow on blue. Power distribution, generators and tower lights to illuminate the walk. We were also able to supply sound equipment from our sister company Stage Sound Services. A front of house PA for the band, and to rally the walkers. The crew enjoyed being part of this successful evening as much as the walkers, and took pride in another job well done.
